Ayurveda for midlife balance: A new year reset with Shana

Saturday January 10 | 1:00–3:00 PM

Ayurveda, “the science of life,” is the ancient Indian sister science to yoga. 


This 2-hour workshop offers practical Ayurvedic tools and rituals to support women through some of the imbalances commonly experienced in perimenopause and menopause. In this workshop, you’ll:

• Learn about the doshas and how they relate to the symptoms commonly experienced during midlife.
• Explore journaling prompts to deepen self-awareness and set meaningful intentions for the year ahead.
• Discover nourishing foods, teas, and spices that support balance and overall well-being.
• Experience a grounding Ayurvedic self-care ritual (abhyanga)—a self-massage practice to calm and center the body.
• Practice calming breathwork and participate in a yin-based yoga sequence designed to soothe the nervous system and restore equilibrium.


Leave feeling grounded, replenished, and equipped with new tools and intentions to support yourself during this transformative stage of life.
